Electronic Claims Submission
You may submit your claims to Delta Dental of Colorado either electronically via a clearinghouse, or through the internet using Dentist Connection. If you choose to transmit claims electronically through a clearinghouse, please contact your vendor for assistance. Delta Dental of Colorado’s payor ID number is 84056.
Dentist Connection
Dentist Connection is a valuable online tool that allows you to securely view patient eligibility, benefits, and claims information. With this application you may also submit claims online free of charge. Dentist Connection meets all the HIPAA-mandated security measures for the protection of your patients’ health information.
With Dentist Connection you can:
• Submit claims free online.
• Verify member eligibility and benefit plan designs.
• Receive your claims payment statements (CPS) electronically.
Access to Dentist Connection requires:
• A user login and password.
• You may register for your user login and password directly on the site. Click on Dentist Connection to link to the site.Registration requires:
• Name of person completing the registration.
• Business tax identification, city and zip code.
• Provider name, license number and state.
You will need to re-register if you make any changes to your registration information, such as change of TIN or zip code.
Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Direct Deposit/EFT makes if possible for you to receive payments form Delta Dental directly into your bank account, usually within a few days of claim submission.
The advantages of Direct Deposit/EFT include:
• Faster payment.
• No Mail to sort.
• No checks to deposit.
• Less chance of lost of stolen check.
• Online convenience.
Sign up is easy. Here’s how:
Simply complete the Direct Deposit/EFT Agreement and send to Attn: Provider Records, Delta Dental of Colorado, 4582 S. Ulster St. Suite 800, Denver, CO 80237. Include a voided check. Once we have established the secure transmission pathway from our bank to yours, your Direct Deposit account will be online and available to use.
Delta Dental Plans Association (DDPA)
You can use the DDPA national website (www.deltadental.com) to retrieve information for Delta Dental subscribers with plans outside of Colorado. You will need the subscriber’s name, identification number, and date of birth.
Registration is quick and easy, and the site is secure. You may log onto www.deltadental.com for more information and assistance.

Integrated Voice Response (IVR)
With Delta Dental’s Integrated Voice Response (IVR) you can access benefits and claim information via the telephone. The IVR system is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-610-0201 or 303-741-9305. We can quickly provide a faxed copy of benefits (faxback) for your convenience.Language Line Services
